OUR CHURCH RECEIVES A GRANT FOR THE FOOD PANTRY

The First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte recently received a $10,000 grant through the Charlotte Community Foundation (CCC). Thanks to this grant, and the generous donors of CCC, our church is able to pay for a new air conditioning unit in our renewed food pantry, and thus, continue serving the low-income community of our town.

We are so thankful for their generosity.

START YOUR MONDAY THE RIGHT WAY WITH LECTIO-DIVINA

Lectio-Divina is a traditional Christian practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer, intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God's word.

Every Monday at 8 AM, we join the brothers and sister of Wintergarden Presbyterian Church for a Lectio-Divina time.

This is a special event for those who are near and far, to see and pray with each other. At Wintergarden, most participants are snowbirds.
