There are several ways to donate online. For now, we only have a few options, but we are working to get some more ways people can donate using the internet.
Important: The staff or the minister will never contact you asking for online donations, or asking you to buy store gift cards on our behalf. Always call the church office first.
Here are the ways you can do it.
A) Through “Bill Pay” – This is one of the simplest methods for online payment. Bill Pay is a service offered by many banks and credit unions that lets you set up automatic payments for any bills, including credit cards, mortgages, and utilities. We suggest you call your bank or credit union first and be sure they offer it. What Bill Pay does, is that the bank will write a check out of your banking account and mail it anywhere you want, at no cost to you.
Here is how to do it. Once you log into your banking account, please follow these steps:
- On the bank dashboard or main page, find on the Menu bar options such as Transfer & Pay, Pay Bill, or something similar, and click on it.
- Then, go to add a payee or beneficiary manually.
- Please insert into each field accordingly, the following information: Name: First Presbyterian Church – Address: 2230 Hariet St – Port Charlotte, FL, 33952 – Phone: 941-625-5045. If asks you for an account number, place your envelope number if you know it, or Food Pantry, if the donation is for the Food Pantry. If asks you for name on the bill, please inform your name and last name.
- Once the payee or beneficiary is added, now you can type the amount you wish to donate and inform if this is a one-time payment, or if it is recurring every month.
- Click make payment to have the amount debited from your banking account and send it to us. If you chose make it recurring, the bank will automatically debit your account every month and send us a check on your behalf.
