Our Mission

The Mission of First Presbyterian Church (FPCPC) is: To be a beacon in the community by leading all people into a life-changing, ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte (FPCPC) is a truly diverse church where every person can understand God’s grace, experience his power, and be changed by his love.

FPCPC’s members are faithfully resilient, finding new ways to serve God and God’s people.
Through our volunteer members, we help seniors, the homeless, and low-income residents by offering them our Food Pantry.

We have created the Deacon’s Benevolent Fund that provides financial help to families with unexpected medical expenses and surmounting living expenses.

FPCPC is a welcoming, friendly, and loving congregation. We have servant hearts and believe that the greatest way to reach others begins through service.

The Vision of First Presbyterian Church (FPCPC) us: Reach, Grow, Send.

• We desire to reach out to all who seek to know the Savior Jesus Christ;

• We desire to grow to be more like our Master; and, …

• We desire to send the Word of God to those in our community, and even outside of it, with every member participating in Ministry.

We envision a church in which every member is growing deeper in his or her relationship with God. A church that not only knows God intellectually, but experiences God emotionally and follows God obediently. To build a family of devoted followers of Christ that worships God shares Christ’s hope and love, and ministers to each other’s needs.
